The Royal Blues are a brilliant wedding band. They arrived on time and got themselves set up whilst the guests were eating- they were well prepared to perform and sounded amazing in our barn venue. They are clearly really talented with both instruments and vocals. and were lovely to talk to- we chatted to them briefly while they had a break, and we thought they were really excellent at what they do. They learned our first dance song for us, and played it beautifully. My partner and I were very moved and we both loved it. They also played an incredible set of popular wedding songs which the guests really enjoyed. People were dancing for ages and overall we could not have asked for more from their band performance. We would highly recommend them as a band for any wedding - lovely guys and totally worth every penny for their excellent performance.
The Royal Blues are an excellent band. The quality of the musicians was of a really high standard, our guests were very impressed. They were able to produce a good rendition of our first song that was not in their setlist and managed the rest of the song choices very well along with the mood of the evening as it progressed. The band added solos and audience interaction to their performance to make it feel unique as well as engaging. They were polite an accommodating on the day and were able to shuffle around the set times as needed.
The Royal Blues played a fantastic selection of songs - merging old with new and even putting an unexpected but well received rap! They played our first dance song as a special request and really helped make a great evening atmosphere. 100% would recommend!
From booking to the actual performance was pretty easy. Despite doing a destination wedding and having to bring the band to another country, Irving's communication was very prompt. The Royal Blues absolutely crushed it and even allowed some of our talented friends to join them in some songs. It was a magical night that we didnt want to end.
Excellent play set with great song choices that kept everyone dancing and having a good time. We particularly liked their enthusiasm and interaction with the audience which made the performance feel more personal, they were also happy to play a final song- encore! Lovely, friendly guys, everyone raved about how much they loved the band on the night! :)
Hi Mike,
Luke & Amelia McCoy hear from the Christchurch wedding on Friday. Just a quick message to say thank you for the other night. You guys were amazing. Everyone has been saying how brilliant you were so a massive thank you from us!
Thanks again!
Hi Mike, we just wanted to say thank you guys so much for playing at our wedding. You were brilliant and everyone really enjoyed the songs you played.
Brilliant night. Thanks so much
The band was amazing with a great selection of songs to play. They were all very polite and really livened people up to dance at our wedding. I'd highly recommend the Royal Blues for any event.
The music was excellent! Highly recommended. 5 Stars.
Lovely guys, talented musicians and dance floor was full throughout (including the kids). All guests said how amazing they were! We love The Royal Blues! Thank you for making our evening amazing!
The Royal Blues, are an excellent, well rehearsed band with a real groove. As music is such an important part of our lives we needed to have the right band and we couldn’t have chosen better. They were really collaborative and friendly in the approach to the wedding, helping us craft the setlist and also letting my son play a couple of songs with them on drums. On the night Royal Blues just smashed it, playing hit after hit and keeping our guests dancing and singing throughout the set. It was a pleasure having them at our wedding and we would highly recommend them to anyone.
The band were fantastic! They were so accommodating and super talented! Highly recommend
All the guest thoroughly enjoyed the music, very talented musicians, and got everyone up dancing all night. Highly recommend.
The Royal Blues played at my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding at Stockbridge Farm Barn on Saturday. They arrived and were setting up without me even noticing! I cannot recommend them highly enough. They went above and beyond. Their talent, professionalism and manner was exceptional. Helped make a wonderful day even more special. Thank you.
The Royal Blues were absolutely brilliant!
Cracking music, really nice guys and dealt with the last minute delays in schedule due to the caterers messing up too. Let us use their PA system too which was great.
I would recommend to anyone. Hopefully see them again someday!
Cheers,
Harriet & James
Everyone absolutely loved The Royal Blues - really tight, great musicians and had the women swooning just a bit too :)
They were also really engaging which was ideal for a wedding, always encouraging people to the dance floor and then playing some absolute belters.
Can’t praise them enough - go on, book them - you will definitely be more than happy.
Wow. This band were incredible! Their energy, their personality and their enthusiasm must be hard to find in any other act and if you could bottle it you’d make a million. The guys were so good getting the crowd going from the start and even generously conceding to the cries of “one more song!” right at the end. They also got themselves involved in the event enjoying the food, socialising and utilising our photo pod to save a memory for us for the future. I can’t thank them enough for helping to take our wedding to the next level nor recommend them more highly to anyone looking for a great, energetic band to jump start their own celebrations. Thank you so much, R&B.
The Royal Blues played at our wedding in Bristol recently. They really made our evening celebrations so special. They were due to do a 2 hour set but as they started to pack away some of our guests were enjoying it so much that they enquired about getting them to stay longer! The band were so accommodating of this and played for another hour - this was so special as our guests were really having the time of their lives at this point and didn't want the night to end. The band played some requests from our guests and played a great mix of old and new music that got everybody up dancing. We can't thank them enough for making our day magical and would recommend them to anybody looking for live entertainment. Our only complaint is that the evening had to end!
We were lucky enough to book the Royal Blues for our wedding day, and they exceeded all expectations. We had an unusual request for our 1st dance and they absolutely blew us away. From that moment on they kept the high standard and raised the roof, knowing exactly how to keep the guests moving and entertained.
Thank you so much for being a part of our special day.
Mr and Mrs Moore
The band were excellent. Thank you so much for making our evening so fabulous!
The Royal Blues played at our wedding reception, and really brought the party alive!! The music was great, and our guests were on the dance floor all evening. Couldn't have asked for more from Mike and the crew, who really went the extra mile to make sure everything was as we wanted, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!
The Royal Blues really brought the party and made our night - we may not have been the biggest crowd, but I think we made up for that in enthusiasm on the dancefloor! Mike and the band were very professional to deal with, and read the crowd perfectly with their song choices outside of those that we had requested. We even had a mini mosh pit going a couple of times! Thanks for a brilliant evening!
An excellent, friendly and easy going band: played a mixture of song requests aswell as a range of songs that had something to get everyone up on the dancefloor. We would definitely recommend them to others.
Hireaband helped my out last minute when my previous band cancelled 48hrs before my party (due to Covid-19). The band were amazing & great fun. They listened to what I wanted & were very reassuring under the circumstances. They were absolutely loved by everyone on the night. Many thanks to everyone involved for helping me out at such short notice. It couldn't have gone any better.
We loved having the Royal Blues play at our wedding! They were so great & fun and even learnt our first dance in less than a week! Would recommend! Thank you!
The Royal Blues were fantastic! They called a few days before to chat about the event. They arrived on time and started when planned. They listened to what we requested and read the room. Lots of guests complimented the band and some asked for details for their wedding. Chatting to some of the band after they were lovely and seemed to have enjoyed the evening
We cannot thank you and the band enough for Saturday night. Everyone, including ourselves, has been raving about your performance. It was simply perfect to accompany a blur of joyful / debatable dance moves!
(And thank you for the patience of allowing charlotte her moment with proud Mary & providing backing music whilst the lights were fixed!!)
Hope the drive back wasn’t too brutal.
Best wishes
Charlotte & John
We hired The Royal Blues through Hireaband and they were absolutely incredible. They learnt our first dance song with a few days notice and then proceeded to play a selection of songs (including requests) which catered to all ages and tastes, faultlessly. Every single person commented on just how good they were and we would hire them again in a heartbeat. The whole process through Hireaband was simple and extremely accommodating despite us having to rearrange three times!
The band were fantastic, performed a range of songs from different genres. They looked good, sounded great and were really lovely, friendly, approachable guys. We would definitely book them again. They added an amazing atmosphere to our intimate venue, everybody loved them and they made our wedding even more special and memorable.
Thank you Hireaband for your service & thank you The Royal Blues you were amazing, all of you!
Great Band, couldn’t recommend more. Very Reliable & professional.
We have been visiting The Square Bar in Ayia Napa and love this band, the way they get people involved in their music is fun. They are entertaining and with a mixed choice of tunes, keep up the good work, love your version of Valerie!!! Xx
Just wanted to say you guys were absolutely brilliant in the square bar ayia napa last week and the choice of tracks you did had us singing all holiday from the eagles "hotel California" down to sigmas "nobody to love" that I really didn't expect to hear with perfection, great music, voices and very funny punchlines, thank you for making our holiday Karey and carol XX
What a band!! Been coming to the square bar for a few years now and 2019 saw a change in a new 3 some band “Royal Blues’ they were exceptional in all ways, playing a full variety song list to suit all. The singer was flawless with his singing, and wow he can play the guitar as well as sing. Really enjoyed watching these boys, honestly worth a visit every night!! Really nice guys and I really liked their connection with the crowd. Vicky from Leicester
Great and good tunes create great vibe !
Insanely talented musicians !
Great band, thoroughly enjoyed screaming along to some great tunes !
Watched these guys almost every night in the Square Bar in Ayia Napa. Great musicians and the lead singers voice is very unique, soulful and powerful which allows him to sing more difficult songs, meaning you get to hear songs you often don't with a lot of other bands who are covering songs. They all have a great personality and find time for a chat during their short break. Great sin-a-long evening which gets you in the mood for a big night out!
Absolutely loved your performance in Nice last sunday!
