Unashamedly retro, Vintage Explosion authentically recreate the look and sound of those iconic entertainers of the 50's such as Louis Prima, Little Richard, Chubby Checker, Bill Haley and Fats Domino. Those legendary artists wrote songs designed to fill dance floors and that is also the aim of this fabulous band.
This high class act will have you dancing into the night with a mix of Jive, Swing, Rock n Roll, Rhythm and Blues and Jazz as well as an array of classic 50’s hits that everyone will know! If you want your event to go with a bang, book The Vintage Explosion and party like it’s 1959!
The brainchild of and fronted by legendary singer and musician William Hitchell (Ernest) Vintage Explosion is aimed squarely at the corporate events market. Veterans of some of the biggest and glitziest bashes in Britain, no event is too big or too demanding for this band. Unfazed by celebrity guests, comfortable in the most prestigious venues and with a level of professionalism and experience unmatched by any other band, nothing says more about an event organisers good taste and customer care than having Vintage Explosion entertain.

I first booked The Vintage Explosion last year and have continued to book them for every function we hold across Scotland ever since; including our prestigious Employee of the Year Awards at Prestonfield. A class act for a class occasion.
Following last week’s Scotland Awards dinner at the Glasgow Hilton, this is just a brief note to thank you again for your contribution towards the event’s success.
